Cue the music. Kate not only named her agency after a beloved song, it's become the soundtrack for her new business. This iconic, much-loved anthem of the '70s, written and sung by Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young fame, the song is "Our House." A feel-good story about simple pleasures, romantic tenderness and happy, sweet moments.

“Our House” is a song with special meaning to Kate and her husband. She gifted the handwritten lyrics of the song to Paul when they moved into their home 20 years ago. The feeling and emotion behind “Our House,” the song are the same values she is building her agency around: happiness, welcoming cozy comfort and ease, and the power of the senses: music, scent and beautiful things… and the confidence that everything will turn out just right.

Our House is built on a foundation of happy moments and creative energy. The elements of the "Sun-Star" logo on a background of vivacious, happy citron YELLOW tell the Our House story.  It took Kate about 30 seconds to decide what color the Our House brand was meant to be. The color yellow symbolizes creative curiosity, joyful passion, comfortable collaboration, fresh optimism and sunshiny warmth. It's the color that makes you smile! Yellow is the color of sunshine, optimism and happiness, creativity, 1970’s smiley faces, yellow roses and the warmth of firelight.

The "Sun-Star" logo designed by Art Director, Alessia Elysee, captures the sensorial power of the sun and the stars, a favorite motif of Kate's.  It captures the inspiring nature of stars shining brilliantly in the night sky and sunlight shimmering like diamonds on the water. Kate is a romantic and is known for her love of sparkle, glitter and disco balls. The 10-pointed "Sun-Star" has a magical, mystical  and cosmic vibe, while it also symbolizes the aspiration to always reach for the stars.
